ABOUT US
Hello, I'm Varnita, the founder of Be-Veda. Gratitude for taking a moment to pause and allowing yourself to be open to the beauty and benefits Ayurveda has to offer. Our vision of Ayurvedic-inspired is "simple living and high thinking.”
The story behind BeVeda dates back to my childhood when I remember rushing to my mom, complaining about my sore and scratchy throat. The idea of chewing holy basil and ginger with honey to cure my throat sounded yucky. Well, to my surprise, 2 days of consistently gnawing on the herbs, salt water gargles, and steaming my face over a saucepan of hot water with a towel over my head and it worked! This began to spark my curiosity.
In honor of Baba who inspired me to live my life with dignity and to treat everyone equally with deep respect and in loving memory of Nanna who taught me to always be true to who I am, Be-Veda's puzzle pieces slid together. There was tea ready to be served for every and any occasion, morning, mid-day slump, afternoon tea, evening tea with snacks, tea before and after a meal, movie, and even a date. I could say tea pretty much ran in our blood. Thanks to my sister who is a tea connoisseur, I realized recently that there are such beautiful teas yet to be discovered and enjoyed. How about teas with health benefits, that suited your constitution and gave us what you needed at the time? Be it energy, digestion, rest, calm, or clarity.
With great pride, I present to you, BeVeda, based on an Ayurvedic-inspired lifestyle.
To feel rooted, balanced, and radiant on a daily basis, practicing Ayurveda (knowledge of life ) is a great way to get in touch with your authentic self and live fully. The more I continue to learn and explore it’s vastness, the more fascinated I get by its simplicity and complexity- there is so much more to Ayurveda than just nutrition, self-care rituals, and finding a balance.
My goal is to make Ayurveda accessible, easy to understand, and integrate into our modern-day lives so we can benefit from simple everyday ingredients and practices to prevent dis-ease before it is too late. An Ayurvedic life where we can slow down and discover the fine balance between happiness and ambition, work and family, success and wellness and flourish instead of just existing.
Today, I begin my journey of sharing Ayurveda with you starting with some of my favorite loose-leaf artisanal chai, hand-picked directly from tea gardens in India.
So what’s your cup of tea?
Would it be Kashmiri Kahwa or Mystic Moringa?
Well, try a sip and you’ll know exactly what makes you happy!
